There’s nothing like a Sweet Georgia Peach. This iconic American fruit has been savored by American consumers for over 150 years. Genuine Georgia, a longtime RedShed client, tapped us to create a brand that reflected the authenticity of this historic product with a slightly modern twist.

A bit of history. Did you know Georgia first developed and mass-marketed the peach, eventually creating a peach boom in the 1930s and 40s? It was a time when rustic wooden boxes of the fruits were routinely shipped in refrigerated train cars up the coast to satisfy high demand.

The rustic vintage look of the labels affixed to those wooden boxes was a key influence in our design. We wanted the packaging to hint at where peaches came from, and to remind consumers that when you eat a Georgia peach, you’re eating a deliciously true original.
